Bushwick Puerto Rican Day Parade
While walking to the M-train on a hot Saturday this June, I stumbled on a massive Puerto Rican Day celebration on Knickerbocker Ave. Before heading into Manhattan I shot a quick roll of Ektar to show the pulse of the community. That night I discovered that it was the inaugural parade in Bushwick after years of looking to get permits approved--happy I didn't take the L that day.
